1.      Domestic Preparedness: The Sierra Leone Red Cross is a disaster preparedness organization that supports and complements the work of public authorities when emergencies (Natural/Man-made) occur. Our trained volunteers are ready to help around the clock, every day of the year. Whereever disaster strike, the Red Cross endeavours to be the first in the and the last out.

Our trained volunteers support people in finding lifestyles that promote health and guide them to local services as necessary.

3.      First aid activities: The Red Cross’s key objective is to protect life and health. To this end, the organization carries out various activities, one of which is our high-quality first aid training for citizens.

4. Blood Donation: The Sierra Leone Red
Cross is one of the major Blood Donation organizations in Sierra Leone. The
basic task of the Blood Service is to create the preconditions for saving
lives. Our Dedicated volunteers are seriously involved in this activity.

5.      Youth Activities: Young people can join all Red Cross activities! With us, you can train in first aid and preparedness groups, lead children’s clubs and camps, organize events, and plan campaigns or social media communications for your branch.
